0:00 O believers,
0:01 when the call to prayer is made on Friday,
0:04 leave off trade,
0:05 and go to perform the prayer...
0:08 That is better for you, if you only knew.
0:10 And when the prayer is finished, then disperse in the land...
0:14 Seek Allah's bounty,
0:16 and remember Allah much so that you may achieve what you desire.
0:22 Respected congregation,
0:26 I live,
0:29 Many rightfully call it
0:31 difficult
0:32 and unusual.
0:35 A time in which we almost daily witness painful events,
0:40 we see heavy scenes
0:43 and hear news that disturbs our hearts and disrupts our
0:50 Middle East.
0:52 Conflicts and suffering have been ongoing for months.
0:56 Among those affected are our brothers, the Muslims.
1:02 One by one, countries are going through devastation,
1:06 weakness
1:07 in trials.
1:12 Where is the Ummah of Muhammad (s.a.w.s)?
1:17 Why does it act divided,
1:20 powerless
1:22 and indifferent?
1:25 Why is there no brotherly solidarity?
1:30 As if Muslims have forgotten the message of Allah's Messenger Muhammad (s.a.w.)
1:35 and the warning,
1:37 it is unbecoming for a believer to humiliate themselves,
1:40 It is not appropriate for a believer to voluntarily submit to humiliation.
1:47 And as if we have surrendered,
1:49 waiting for things to resolve themselves,
1:51 or for someone else to solve our problems.
1:57 Dear brothers,
2:00 in the tradition of our
2:02 righteous predecessors,
2:05 there is a narration
2:08 about Shaklik al-Balhi,
2:10 a student of the well-known scholar Ibrahim ibn Nadham.
2:16 One day,
2:19 traveling through the desert
2:20 in search
2:22 of sustenance, for nafak.
2:26 A bird with a broken wing caught his eye.
2:29 It could not fly
2:31 nor bring food to itself.
2:33 But he saw another bird land near it,
2:37 bringing it food.
2:40 It was lowering
2:40 He feeds, provides for the weak, in her beak.
2:45 Amazed by this sight,
2:47 the man thinks.
2:50 If Allah
2:51 provides
2:52 for this helpless,
2:53 injured bird,
2:55 He will provide for me too.
3:00 And he decides to return home.
3:03 And dedicate himself solely to ibadah.
3:09 When he met his teachers,
3:12 he told them what he saw.
3:15 And
3:21 why
3:23 don't you
3:24 be
3:25 that healthy bird
3:27 that feeds
3:29 that wounded one?
3:32 For the upper
3:34 The bowing is better than the lower position.
3:40 This brief narration
3:43 And the teacher's response
3:45 carries a great message.
3:48 A believer
3:49 must not and cannot be passive.
3:53 They rely on Allah, the Exalted,
3:55 which does not mean giving up work
3:58 and leaving the concern for us and our sustenance
4:02 to Allah, the Exalted.
4:03 Negotiation means our initiative,
4:06 our full commitment,
4:09 working within our capabilities,
4:11 and after that,
4:13 reliance
4:14 on Allah, the Exalted.
4:17 The Prophet (peace be upon him)
4:19 once told a Companion who asked him
4:21 whether to tie the camel and rely on Allah or to let it go and trust that the Lord would take care of it. In a brief sentence, he explained,
4:34 tie the camel,
4:36 then it becomes
4:38 in Allah.
4:42 The strength of a believer
4:44 is reflected in their responsibility,
4:46 determination,
4:48 knowledge, work, perseverance, and readiness
4:51 to be beneficial.
4:52 To be responsible
4:54 and of benefit to both themselves and others.
4:57 The Prophet (peace be upon him)
4:59 He advises us, O believers,
5:02 there is goodness.
5:03 And it is given
5:04 to Allah from the weak believers.
5:07 In everything, there is goodness.
5:09 Yes,
5:10 the believer.
5:12 Allah loves the strong believer more than the weak believer.
5:15 And in every situation, there is goodness. In every situation, there is good.
5:21 Muslims around the world hope and expect.
5:25 those who are strong,
5:27 those who, due to their position, are stronger than others and define themselves as Ulul Amr,
5:34 the leaders and heads finally
5:37 gather and consider the situation,
5:39 and agree and pave the way for its resolution.
5:44 They have no right to remain silent
5:47 and do nothing regarding
5:49 the protection of Muslims.
5:51 For if they are Muslims,
5:53 if they are leaders and rely on Allah's help, then they must act, speak,
6:01 to help,
6:02 to protect the weak
6:04 Allah
6:05 they are obliged to do so
6:06 as leaders
6:08 of the people or nations.
6:11 Unfortunately,
6:12 this is not the first time that the Ummah of Muhammad s.a.w.
6:16 has found itself in a difficult situation.
6:19 And this has always happened to him.
6:21 when its internal cohesion was disrupted
6:23 internal cohesion
6:25 And when greedy individuals stepped in
6:28 greedy individuals
6:30 who subordinated the interests of the ummah
6:32 to their own
6:34 Against
6:37 their brothers,
6:38 aiding
6:40 1
6:41 which inherited.
6:45 Unfortunately, there are many examples.
6:47 we have,
6:49 We will mention the Ayyubid state.
6:54 The Ayyubid state in the seventh century after
6:59 the death of its founder
7:03 split
7:04 into three parts.
7:07 One part was ruled by his
7:10 son Kamil in Egypt.
7:12 Another in Damascus, the second son of Muaz
7:17 And the third, the remaining part of the Levant,
7:20 the third son Eshref.
7:23 The son of Kamishli,
7:25 surrendered Jerusalem
7:29 into the hands of the German Sara
7:32 as compensation
7:33 for the help
7:35 that he provided him in battles
7:38 against his
7:39 to the One
7:41 brother
7:42 Muaz
7:45 And his brother Eshref also helped the enemy
7:49 against the Muslims
7:51 only a few decades later
7:54 all their states
7:56 collapsed
8:01 The Ummah faces a similar calamity and
8:06 before it is a difficult path to recovery
8:09 And of inner transformation.
8:12 He will be able to achieve that
8:15 only by returning to the source of his power, that is,
8:18 affirmation
8:19 of Quranic and Sunnah principles and
8:23 re-establishing
8:24 inner
8:25 cohesion and unity.
8:27 In order to protect himself from frequent attacks
8:30 on his life,
8:32 territory
8:33 And His goodness.
8:35 Therefore, we hope
8:38 As well as our Muslim brothers and sisters around the world
8:42 That this trial is an opportunity
8:45 For those who need to take action to awaken.
8:48 And to take the first step on that path.
8:52 And because of these events,
8:54 many
8:56 are those who have opened their eyes and said...
9:01 Evil
9:06 And good are not the same.
9:08 The market has produced a multitude of evils.
9:12 And then they experienced their own birth pangs.
9:15 We hope
9:18 that those who have individually embarked
9:22 will at one moment unite with the others.
9:26 With a large number of those who have taken the path of good, truth, and justice, for the benefit of the ordinary person
9:35 women and children.
9:38 Dear brothers.
